Borderline Skate Jam - Bridging an International Skate Community

BUFFALO, NY - Rainbow Roller Rink is hosting the Borderline Skate Jam, May 12-14, 2023.  The rink is located just minutes from the Niagara River bordering the U.S. and Canadian boarders.  The organizers of this event would like to invite skaters from both Canada and the United States (and beyond) to come and roll as one community of skaters that share a passion to roll.  The weekend starts with a warm-up Thursday night skate at 8 with DJ Ready Rob.  Friday, meet and greet the international skate family while enjoying the sounds of  DJ Tone Capo.  Friday night, roll with DJ Tech and DJ Techtrix from 11 PM to 4 AM.  Saturday, roll with DJ Tone Capo, DJ Prototype, DJ WildChild and DJ-D.  Sunday wrap it up with DJ E-Z Ed, DJ Dream and DJ Swizzy.  Top off the weekend by taking a quick 20-minute drive to Niagara Falls and enjoy what has recently been designated as the 8th world wonder

Spring Bling 2023

CORTLAND, OH - Hey skaters, tired of the cold?  Ready for Winter to be over and anxious for Spring?  Why not warm up at Cortland Skating Rink with the Pittsburgh Steel City Rollers, Saturday, May 20 when they host their Spring Bling 2023 Skate Party.  Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  DJ Keefer and DJ Narsistic of Ohio will be spinning the night away from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM.  There will be no rental skates so bring your 8’s and be ready to roll.

Jivebiscuit Skate Family Reunion: Hot 16

ATLANTA, GA – Join Jivebiscuit as they celebrate 16 Hot years of skating and DJs.  The Jivebiscuit Skate Family Reunion is going down in the A-T-L February 23-26, 2023 at Golden Glide and Sparkles.  Thursday is the kickoff celebrating DJ Money Mike and DJ Dream.  Friday, the Firestarter himself, DJ Arson will have the turntables spinning at Sparkles.  Saturday is the main event, Hot 16, celebrating DJ CJ, DJ Killa B, and B-Dash at Golden Glide.  Then Sunday night rounds out the weekend with DJ Joe Bowen of Chicago. Vendors, photographers and videographers should email Jivebiscuit to request credentials. VIP packages are available starting December 3, 2022.

PHOENIX, AZ – SkateGroove is introducing something new, the BOB designation.  You may have noticed some of the rinks on the Rink Link pages and some businesses have the letters BOB next to their company name.  The BOB notates this is a Black Owned Business.  Please check your state’s page and if you see a rink that you can confirm is BOB, please send an email with that information to Desi at SkateGroove.com.  In addition, if you know of any Hispanic (HOB) or Female Owned (FOB) that information is also being requested.
