On a more humble note: To Freckles – I pray that you and your family continue to be strong through this difficult time. I can relate. My step father of 30 years just passed in March of Cancer and one of his last outings was coming to the rink to watch me skate for my birthday!! The unofficial end of summer is here already. Labor Day weekend is just a few days away. Labor Day is a day to appreciate the hard work that working people put in throughout the year. It is always an honor to skate at home in our very own backyard. VSC has been procrastinating having a cook-out for some time and this was the opportunity for us to just do the dawn thing since our friends and skate family were coming into town. 8.20.08 Skate family, I must say this past weekend was special in many ways. Not only did I celebrate being a Leo but was able to share it with so many other Leos. We made an attempt to reach out to as many birthday celebrating people as possible and I hope you enjoyed yourself and felt special... It was well organized and put together. You all did the darn thing. The DJ’s that were in the building I am finding are a dangerous combination on the turn tables together. Positive people, their encouragement, enthusiasm, and their prayers were all an integral part of our success, whether or not you were at the jam or not, and I want to thank all of you for giving that to us. 7.28.08 7.28.08 Greg, Kim and the rest of the Midwest All Stars, wonderful job. I fully enjoyed myself there. Yes, i got the Royal treatment from the time I got there until I left. I'm sorry I missed the Meet and Greet, that bed was feeling sooo good. Thanks for the personalized Welcoming basket, nice to be thought of like that. All of Milwaukee treated me well. Good hanging with you Leo in the "Hummer". I haven't had so much fun on my way to an skating event in a while. Let's see...we missed our exit, got stopped b the police after running a stop sign, but no ticket. Leo, you know I was Praying for ya! I haven't rod in so many different type of vehicles in one weekend in my life...a truck, van and a school bus. Wow! Greg, I had a ball. The cookout was fun, but I had to get away from the water balloons. CD Man...yo' crazy and CC is crazier for entertaining you...lol. I love you guys and had a good time with you. If you missed Karaoke during the meet and greet Friday, you missed out on a good time. Rufus & Rufus - We couldn't of done it without you.
